We had an incredible time in Vancouver. Thanks to Greg Coyes and the 100 Years Cafe crew ! Truely inspiring.
The '100 years cafe' series in Vancouver is a collaboration musical project with Native musicians. The doco is inspired from a prophecy of Louis Riel - a Canadian politician, a founder of the province of Manitoba and a political and spiritual leader of the Métis people of the Canadian prairies. He led two resistance movements against the Canadian government. In 1885 he made this prophecy, 4 months later he was hung.
"My people will sleep for one hundred years. When they awake, it will be the artists that give them back their spirit."

** News Flash **
Our new album Te Po will be out VERY soon. Yia!
After finishing our recording/mixing and mastering we headed off onto a mini tour of Aotearoa (kia ora ano to all the fantastic hosts and audiences who made our gigs soooo fabulous! ) Now we head over to Vancouver, Canada. Exciting collaborations and catching up with good friends such as Talking Stick Festival are in store for us there.
We have a few gigs and workshops popping up here and there in Aotearoa this year. So watch our gig guide space! Worth mentioning though is we're at the Waiheke Music Festival over Easter and the Windy City at Te Papa Museum on 7/8 June for Matariki. AND... Its Official ! We head away again to Canada and USA in July - Sept... !
A huge woop woop welcome to Jessie Hindin who joins us on fiddle and vocals. She seriously kicks fiddle booty and we are loving it!
